I’ve always had mixed feelings about trains. I’ve been in beautiful ones in Switzerland and horrible ones in India, so I wasn’t as excited initially about the Flåm railway, often considered the most beautiful train ride on the world, as I should have been. One of the main routes as part of the Norway in a Nutshell tour, you are also able to purchase stand a lone tickets without partaking in any package tour.
Thank goodness I wised up after only a minute into the journey. The landscape is absolutely stunning. I found myself elbowing my way through the undeserving passengers so I could stake myself right on front of an open window for a better view.
Of my many many pictures of Norway, the scene I recall the most vividly is the landscape I passed long this trip. The beauty is burned into my mind, not photograph assistance needed.
