Besides being the best place for anyone to live; it provides a perfect tourist destination for those who may be seeking a break from the hustle of the daily city life. Some of the best tourist attractions are museums, cultural heritages, monuments, the fjords, the wilderness and the mountains.

Located in the southern parts of Norway, in the northeast part of Bergen, the Geirangerfjord and Naeroyfjord are set at 120 km apart from each other. The two fjords are considered to be among the world largest and deepest. The two scapes are seen to be the best that we have on the globe, you can now feel the value that they hold to the Norwegian people.

To be as outstanding as they are, they have the narrow and the steep-sided crystalline rock walls that are estimated to rise above 1400 m above the sea level and go a further 500 meters below the level of the sea. Their walls have numerous waterfalls and rivers that flow naturally cross their coniferous forest to the lakes below, its scenery to watch for most people. More to this, the land is able to support a myriad of terrestrial and aquatic life. The place is a perfect description of what nature looks like.

Travelling across Norway

A great way that one can tour the fjords is by cruise; you can join one of the many voyages and tour the farm and villages that are located in the fjord areas. However, there are some villages that can only be reached by ship in winter, this should however not affect your plan to travel, there are lots of other destinations that one can go. By paying a visit, you will definitely be amazed by the lots of beauty and tranquility that fills the travel destinations.

However, the Bergen train is most appropriate as it commutes Oslo and makes travel across the Hardangervidda highland plateau and park. On the other hand, the flam is a side line of the Bergen railway, and its takes you to the highest altitude that any rail could take you, its 1,222 meters above the level of the sea, quite an amazing spectacle.
